I have a shirt logo I designed in PSP7. If contains text and many vector graphic shapes, of course contained in several layers.
The shirt printing company tells me they need the file in .ai (Adobe Illustrator) format (apparently they can't read PSP). They also said the .ai file needs vector graphics.
So I converted to .ai in PSP7. I also have Illustrator, so I opened the new .ai file in Illustrator to check it out. The new .ai file preserved all the layers, but each layer is just a flattened picture - none of the vector graphics were preserved.
How do I convert a PSP7 file to something the printer can read, and preserve all the vector shapes? Or is there some other version of file that a silk screen company can use, that I can make from PSP7?
As you can probably tell, I'm not a power user and don't know all the proper terms for file types, etc. This is my first post. Go easy on me! A Smaller version of the .psp file is attached. Thanks - Rick
