UGH!!!!

What is it with Teenagers?!?!

My 18 year old (Will be 19 in 1 1/2 months) is driving me crazy!

He is not working nor is he going to school but he seems to think he deserves a free ride in life just because he still lives at home. He refuses to do any chores, is not attempting to look for a job and has not looked into signing up for collage classes yet. He sleeps all day and stays up on the computer all night then gets mad at me when I tell him he needs to get some work done on his chores.

And my MIL is not helping matters none, She is mad at me because I told my son he had to pay rent when he got a job (the money is going to a bank account to help him get his own place, car or to pay for collage classes so what is her issue!) And now she seems to think that my son is going to end up in jail because his mother is going to make him live on the streets ~ Yeah Right Like I would ever throw him out! If it ever got to the point where I "Kicked" him out I would be sending him to live with my Aunt in Phoenix so he could go to school and get a job and have a fresh start to his life. Then My MIL Told me that she would let my son live with her as long as I paid for his food and she wouldn't charge him rent or nothing ~ I said, yeah and that is going to teach him a whole heck of a lot of responsibility ... he gets a free pass in life because Grandma the witch wants to see him fail in life! {Edited out the swear words but close to the exact wording} Then I told her that if my son was sent anywhere to live it would be with MY Aunt before anybody in her family ever got a chance to get their hands on him!

The funny thing {or maybe its a sad thing} is my son don't want to live with her nor does he want to see her, She has really turned my kids and husband against her because of the way she has treated me and my youngest son! We live like 10 minuets from them and never go see them unless they call and make a special invitation such as they have other family from out of town coming to visit and they want to see us while they are in town. The worst part is my poor FIL is not getting to see his grand kids either and he is a really good guy to both the kids and me. If she weren't around my kids would go see their grandpa every weekend.

LOL OK this was not meant to turn into a Novel ~ I guess I had a lot more to say then I thought!

 What a way to start the day.

We just had a micro earthquake hit at 7:08 am

only 7 miles from my house  ~

and I haven't even had my morning coffee yet .

Preliminary reports put it at a 2.8 on the Richter scale

but once all information is compiled it will probably be much lower.

I actually heard it before I felt it and had time to say "earthquake" before either me or my oldest son felt it. My youngest was just arriving at school when it hit so he probably never even noticed.

The funny thing is I'm sitting in the same exact spot I was sitting in when we had the 6.8 quake hit in February of 2001. And as usual my DH is working off station this time in Japan but in '01 he was in San Diego, CA. LOL He just gets to miss all the fun.

Oh well time for me to get ready to go bowling. It's going to be a bummer of a day ~ The excitement came way to early !

OK so my day started out with an earthquake (which is now classified as a 2.9) and continued on to getting behind every idiot on the road! On my way to bowling today there was a deer crossing the road. I slowed down in case I needed to stop but the deer turned around and went back to the other shoulder so I continued to drive cautiously past the deer. The driver of the car in front of me however decided to come to a complete stop in the middle of the lane to point the deer out to her Kids. I had to jump into the suicide lane to avoid making a speed bump out of her car and then she realized there was a car behind her when she braked! Then this afternoon I got behind somebody who could not find the gas pedel on their car ~ I think 15 MPH in a 35 MPH zone is just a tad slow especially when there is no place to pass.

To bad my day is not over yet!

Ugh Yesterday was definitely on of those days!

After all the idiots on the road I had to take my son for bowling Lessons so he could work on his mechanics and learn some things with his new ball ~ well we get there and find out the Instructor "Couldn't make it" so I let him practice bowl with his brother. It's supposed to be a dollar a game for league bowlers and ten cents for any erased frames all total it should of cost me $10.20 but it cost me $11 because they charged me $0.80 for a sheet of paper to print out the games!

Then I went to the video store near my house that is closing with a friend and loaned her $20 to buy her movies and spent another $22 on her kids to get them 4 movies. I then spent another $60 on 3 video games for my family! LOL never let me near a store that is closing or has a sale going I tend to spend money like it's growing on trees! After that I took her to our Favorite Consignment shop and spent another $25 on books, clothes and toys for her kids. Other than the video games I never bought anything really for me alone.

Well I made up for that today I just went and bought Deacon Black and Anthony Guerra's Unlimited Usage Packages {Shh don't tell my DH I spent $250 on PSP stuff especially where I complained about spending around $100 on a filter I really wanted}!
